Is it just me or is there a bunch of Timeghoul influence in here?
there is something so evil and haunting about this album, satanic metal is a dime a dozen, but this album makes hell and satan feel like a strange awful force i can't understand and is out to harm me and is driving me insane, it's also melodic enough to be moody at times and brutal at other times, varying the feel and pace of the music in a way that most death metal doesn't. the vocals also give everything a huge boost sounding actually demonic and otherworldly and not just a guy growling, it's a masterpiece and one of my favs. even the album cover stands out in my mind, a rotting house, the imagination has to fill in the blanks of the horrors that happen inside, this is death metal as high art

Is this an official music video or a fan edit/random live video?
As a 14 year old on acid who attended this show at the "brawl room" in Chicago, looking into this mans face as he sang those lyrics was mind bending, soul twisting, and eye opening. His contribution to the genre can only really Be appreciated by the few. When you identify yourself as a king diamond fan to someone it's like you both know a secret handshake.
Must have been insanely exiting. Had my same with alice cooper and Iron Maiden in the early 80's. Those shows will stay with you forever!
